Uli was a Chinese terrorist employed by Hans Gruber. He was played by Al Leong in the movie die Hard.
History[]
Uli was one of the terrorist that took Hans Gruber's hostages to the 30th floor of the Nakatomi Plaza. Afterwards, Uli helped Heinrich and Marco move missiles to the 35th floor roof access and assisted them with placing C4 explosives on the roof of the building. Gruber then had Uli and other men go to the first floor and fend off the S.W.A.T. team that was about to invade the building. Uli then went back to the 30th floor to guard the hostages. Uli then listened to Richard Thornburg interview Lucy McClane and learned that their hostage, Holly, was John McClane's wife and he told Gruber. Gruber then ordered Uli to take the hostages to the roof where he planted the explosives. The hostages were meant to be killed in an explosion. After Uli took the hostages to the roof he went back down the stairs where John McClane was waiting for him. McClane then shot and killed Uli and saved the hosteges.
